Owners and hosts Patrick Garrett and Reshma Ray-Garrett are excited to be bringing something new and unique to the Wanganui public.
We now bring you personally selected boutique wines and craft beers from across New Zealand, and a gourmet menu of tapas, pizzas, mains and desserts. The response from our customers has been emphatically positive to our eclectic selection of wines. Our range of craft beers from Tuatara and Mikes organic breweries, have also been well received.
With an emphasis on fresh ingredients and quality, we have worked hard to maintain a consistent standard of food and service. We pride ourselves on running an ethical business and providing excellent free range and locally sourced food - including vegetarian and gluten free menus. We also pride ourselves in using only bio-degradable packaging.
We use the same approach with our coffee, which we source from Atomic, one of New Zealands most experienced coffee roasters. Atomic only roast 100% premium Fair Trade coffee. When combined with the cleanest water and the freshest milk, the result is deliciously smooth and sweet.
Available for private functions, Delicious Cafe and Wine Bar is open six days a week, 8.30am - 4pm Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am - late Thursday and Friday, and 9.30am - 2pm, on Saturdays.
In the three years we've been in business we've developed so much. It's been a continual learning process of listening to our customers and improving the way we run things. We've acquired many loyal customers with whom we have a fantastic rapport, and we're very proud to be continuing to grow within and as part of the Wanganui community!
